Melissa Heggarty
Principal WHS Consultant
Melissa has over 20 years WHS experience in both a consulting and advisory capacity in Australia and the UK. Melissa was previously employed in a Senior Consulting position within a multi-disciplinary organisation and has also held advisory positions in the UK and Australian property and financial services industry, Commonwealth and NSW Government, media and television and aged care.
Melissa maintains formal lead auditor qualifications and strong auditing skills having been involved on HSE audit panels for infrastructure construction, rail, retail, renewables sector, financial and the public service. Melissa was also involved in a complex audit program of one of the largest construction projects in Australia.
Melissa has considerable expertise in bespoke WHS System development and implementation, auditing, contractor management system implementation and property risk management and the identification and management of key risks.
Melissa’s key interest and drive is to collaborate with, advise and support clients in integrating health and safety management in their operations in a practical and effective manner.
Melissa is proud Mum of two beautiful girls and one crazy but cute fur baby, Jaspar, who keep her busy almost every minute outside of work! In her spare time she loves nothing more than being at the beach, swimming in the ocean and travelling the world.
Stef Chapman
Senior WHS Consultant
Stef is a dedicated WHS and Injury Management consultant with over 13 years combined experience in construction, rail, manufacturing, health care and aged care. She brings a consultative and collaborative approach to all of her clients and work and is always keen to learn from work teams on the ground.
Stef’s key interest lies in leading teams to continually improve WHS within their work areas. A keen trainer, Stephanie’s consulting approach is to coach and partner with clients to achieve practical solutions.
Stef’s experience to date focuses on:
Critical risk analysis in a high-risk workplace (i.e. hazardous chemicals, work at height, mobile plant etc).
Development of safety management plans and SWMS for high-risk construction works and property management.
Developing contractor management systems in healthcare and aged care.
Facilitating risk reviews, including construction related critical risk controls.
Auditing in the areas of WHS Management Systems, Rehabilitation Management Systems, due diligence, property, contractor management and high-risk construction.
Stef is ably assisted by office assistant Maxwell, who takes his PPE very seriously.
